and mine is a 140 gm 4cylinder although I think the bearing at the top of the shaft is the culprit. is it cheaper to have mine rebuilt or buy a new case for 770? I dont have all the presses and whatnot to put it back together so I am looking at labor plus parts. found a set of gears online around 375 dont have a clue what the bearings cost but I figured it would be about even to buy a new.
