Starship troopers followed closely by battlefield earth.

On the other hand, inglorious basterds was either one of the best movies I've ever seen, or one of the worst.  I haven't decided yet, although I have determined that it killed off the war movie genre.  Once you see it, most other war movies are just meh.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

The worst movie was a British made film translating the actual book War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells.  This film was done 99% green scene and I made it to the half-way mark and couldn't finish the 3 hour film.

A boring circa 1880's always on the run film.

THE PERFECT STORM!

"oh noes we need more money lets go further out and catch more fish"
"ok"
"yay we went further out and caught more fish lets go even further out and catch even more fish"
"ok but we might run into bad weather"
"yay we made it past the weather and went even further out and caught even more fish now lets hurry up and go back so the fish don't go bad"
"but we can't the storm will destroy us"
"i don't care i have a lot of fish that need to get back"
"but the storm..."
"i don't care lets go"
"ok"
"oh noes we're caught up in the storm lets go even further into the storm so we can make it back with our fish"
"but on the radio there's a warning telling us that the storm will destroy us"
"so what lets go anyway"
"ok"

BAM

"oh noes we're dead"

I'm sorry.. I just did not get it at all.

Another movie that makes me 'uncool' for not liking it was Schindler's List.  I understand the tragedy of it all but come on.

On a somewhat related note, I never got The Three Stooges.  Never laughed.  Not even once.  And I'm a really funny guy! (At least that's what the voices in my head keep telling me)

That's a tough one... by far the worst movie I've seen in terms of acting, script, production, story and just about any other characteristic by which one would try to objectively judge a movie has to be Double Team. In fact the only reason I watched it in the first place was because I wouldn't believe my friend when he told me how bad it was.

That being said sitting down to watch this movie with a couple friends with the sole purpose of mocking it a la Mystery Science Theater 3000 can be somewhat enjoyable.

blasphemer!!! heretic!!!   :lol   :rofl   i bet you laughed at laurel and hardy or abbott and costello.  :neener:

some of the stooges stuff was lame, and it got to be the same ole same ole after a while. considering the era of their heyday, it's easy to understand how they gained popularity.

Any of the Twilight or Saw movies.

In the case of Twilight, they're just straight up stupid.
In the case of Saw, anybody can make a movie that is just disgusting.  When I watched the first one with  my friends, they would say "Watching scary movies with girls is the best way to get some."  They're not scary they're just gross.

Worst in recent memory would be The Adjustment Bureau.

Tom Hanks should have let Matt Damon die in France.

Very easy for me:  Cujo.  The worst movie I've seen by far, and I've seen my share of stinkers.

Watched completely would be man stare at goats. Someone dragged me to the movie theater when it came out.

The Men Who Stare at Goats?  I loved that movie -- it was hilarious and awesome.
