as far as i was concerned, the sounds were alot like someone elses ive heard, but just tweaked. you know thats called plaigarism right? taking someone elses idea, tweaking it a little, saying its yours and giving the original creator no credit is what plaigarism is. looks like you did just that.
DO YOU READ? , i said i left there readme and the start sounds in MY pack. how is that no credit.
only a moron would use Dolby positioning in a game.

The GS15 gun sight was not bustr's gun sight ... it was a changed version of his gun sight that you tried to (accidentally) pass off as yours.

How about the RD-K14-1 gun sight ? ... was that an accident too ?

I don't realy care who does what to my gunsights. I make a point of giving credit to the originator of the base gunsight that I modify to perform a job. You didn't do the original work by simply erasing lines which anyone with Paint can do.

You guys making gunsights need to build them in 512x512 format. It does require using a (.mil) file with 256 in it - gunsight.bmp / gunsight.mil. This gives you 1Mil = 2 Pixel. At that point your rings 120Mil, 100Mil, 60Mil, 50Mil mean something if you perform the math. 20, 10, 5 Mil tick marks have meaning for shallow dive bombing and rockets based on flying level at 2-3k feet to reach 250-300 IA and begin a shallow dive from about 3k yards out from the target. Hitech's environment supports the real world dive bombing formulas based on speed, angle of attack and traditional gunsights.

If you build this gunsight you can use it offline with the dive bomb comp sight enabled to learn what alt, speeds and angle of attacks work for bombs and rockets. It's in 512x512 format. 100Mil main ring. And the ladder marks are every 5Mil or 10Pixel to 70Mil below center. It's a modified N-3B dive bombing gunsight for P39/P40. The original ring is 70Mil. No Mil numbers or 5Mil minor marks. The original ladder starts about the 30Mil mark. I replaced the original dot with a cross that shows up in the fixed ring of the K14 Gyroscopic gunsight.

Modified N-3B Dive Bombing Sight

This is what the real K14 Gyroscopic Gunsight's 6 pointed star graticule looks like.

Hey bustr didn't you have a gun sight for the .75 mil on the B-25? I used to have it but since I have changed computers I lot it.  If you have it could you post a link to it?

The B25-H had an N-3B ginsight with the adjustable bombing head mounted to it. The navigator would read out angles to adjust the tiltable reflector plate along with what speed the plane needed to be at to fire the 75mm at different ranges. Thats why you have that giant black dial on the left side of the gunsight in the B25-H.

Build the one above and use it in the B25-H. If you enable the lead comp and dive bombing lead sight offline. You can tag tanks as cons and the lead comp will move the gunnery green cross hairs into position for the tanks. If you use bombs it will move the dive bombing cross hairs into position. Map the sreen capture button so instead of firing the cannon or dropping a bomb when the cross hairs line up, you take a picture. That way you can keep track of where on the Mil ladder is the point for firing at given distances. Or where to release the bomb.

Convert that (jpeg) to a bitmap. Then use your (x, y) grid in your paint program to locate the start points for pulling a centered 100Mil circle along with where to place all of the lines. In 512x512 format just subtract 100 from 256 and pull your circle from:

(156, 156)

If you use (256, 256) as the center of the 512x512 bitmap mask all of the other parts are just even number proportional math you can do with the calculator in Windows.

Gunsight Format:

1.}512x512 8bit bitmap file. 1Mil = 2Pixel
2.}Black background. Keep a 5pixel border clear of color or it will bleed across your gunsight.
3.}Whatever you name the file : gunsight.bmp it will need a gunsight.mil with 256 in it. Open a text file and put 256 in it and save it as (name.mil.txt). Then remove the .txt part befor placing it in your sights directory.

EDIT: found it! :D

i know the circle is for close range, first line about 1k and the 2nd is about 2k. not sure about the 3rd though, i think it was either 3k or 2.5k.
