Bish have become the new Nits
« on: October 11, 2011, 05:24:46 PM »
Until the last couple of maps I put down the lack of bish success to weight of numbers, but it has become obvious that for whatever reason, there is general lack of interest in too many bish as to the outcome of the map. To be sure at times it's a gang-bang, but even when the numbers are there the interest isnt.

Just my observation

Then that means many of them finally understand the point of the game; it's not "winning the map" - it's fighting and having fun doing it.

Funny how the die hard Bishies never complained that the Nits were getting clobbered all those years.  Spent four plus years on the Nits, hearing endless whines about lack of organization and teamwork.  The numbers disparity has now hit the Bish (in US prime time) and they are whining the same whines now.  It's all about numbers - that's your "teamwork".  If it were possible to track, I'm certain that the team with the consistent numbers advantage is the team that wins the map every single time.

"In wolf war, he who has the mose wolves wins" True, but rooks are just more organized these days.

How are rooks more organised than the nits???  both are rolling bish with not so much organisation (well I spose they are in the fact that they all show up in the same place at the same time) but just shear numbers.....by the time you get up there is a superior number of cons and then they just drop hangers decimate  the field and town so that nothing can stop them. When they hit both fronts we are just totally out numbered having to split defense ....that is the way...sometimes if you are lucky they will leave a hanger up and deack the field so as the guys who want to fight can do so...but if the number of uppers starts to test the skill of these fighter pilots they just drop the last hanger...all in all this is usually a 3-5 min deal and it is all over onto the next..... I believe the bish are doing well for what they are working against at times and when things even out and calm down bish replenish their field quota.....
It's all swings and round-a-bouts ..... we will have our day again

Funny.  I was just logged in watching a Rook whine on 200 about Bish and Nits ganging the Rooks.

Maybe the Bish and Knits are more organized then you think...   :noid

As much as it pains me to say it, he said it best.

Shush and just enjoy the game.  The tide flows and ebbs in 3 different directions, have you not figured that out yet???

Invariably, people who are fixated on winning the war haven't been playing very long, and haven't discovered the myriad of things you can do/learn in this game

Today, a small group of Bish had 44 town (large airfield) deacked and softened the town up.  No Rooks were lifting except uncklekurt.  We'd fly over, deliver our ords and then fly back or get shot down by field ack or Kurt.  Very fun, but we still should have went ahead and got the capture if the Rooks didn't want to defend.   Instead of a handful of guys coming to help out 44, Bish Nation decided to furball it out.  We've lost most of our momentum gaining leaders.  Chewies gone and so are the Devils.  STREGA mentioned today he was about done with missions.  That leaves the Alchemist leaders.  That's a handful of people to lead an entire nation.  Bish Nation needs more of the old hands to step up and lead us young guys. Sure there are missions posted, bug they're posted by the inexperienced.   People will follow the names they know.     Just my thoughts  :joystick:

The best thing I can say to you, as a long time member of Rolling Thunder (formerly a Bishop base rolling squad), learn from the old hands who have moved on from the base rolling game.  Learn that the game is more fun when you are fighting actual other players who can fight back.  Learn that blowing up inanimate buildings gets boring.  Learn that it's more fun to shoot down other pilots who have had their wheels up for more then four seconds.  Learn that shutting all the hangars down makes for no fighting.  Learn that it is more fun to be 1 on 1 against an opponent then it is to be the sixth guy in on a badly outnumbered defender.

There's so much to learn...  Learn.

I thought the rooks were the new nits? Or was it that the bish were the rooks of last week? Or are the nits the same as last week just less motivated, therefore becoming the bish hordes of yesteryear?

My point is the population is dynamic, some nights your the bully and others your the bit... well, you know.
