That's the thing, I tire of the pointless furballing lol.   Its all well and good, but I like the strategic aspect of the game.

The best thing I can say to you, as a long time member of Rolling Thunder (formerly a Bishop base rolling squad), learn from the old hands who have moved on from the base rolling game.  Learn that the game is more fun when you are fighting actual other players who can fight back.  Learn that blowing up inanimate buildings gets boring.  Learn that it's more fun to shoot down other pilots who have had their wheels up for more then four seconds.  Learn that shutting all the hangars down makes for no fighting.  Learn that it is more fun to be 1 on 1 against an opponent then it is to be the sixth guy in on a badly outnumbered defender.

There's so much to learn...  Learn.

indeed having strategic gameplay is really fun, check out the screenshots forum, i posted one exemple of what happened today there at v2
http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,204187.5235.html
one guy deacked the base and later they posted a gv mission, i went to support the mission with the tank buster, took out the AT guns and helped with a few tanks, was a fun capture.

Until the last couple of maps I put down the lack of bish success to weight of numbers, but it has become obvious that for whatever reason, there is general lack of interest in too many bish as to the outcome of the map. To be sure at times it's a gang-bang, but even when the numbers are there the interest isnt.

Just my observation

Flame on AKAK I know you can't resist. Come on, take the bait. Pigeon.

I'm Bish and I usually feel successful.  I kill more guys than kill me and usually do it in every aspect of the game.  How's that not success?

As to the map they come and go.  In the few hours a week I get to play I'd prefer to kill people than toolsheds.

Good luck against that town building... I hear it's awsome.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Funny.  I was just logged in watching a Rook whine on 200 about Bish and Nits ganging the Rooks.

Maybe the Bish and Knits are more organized then you think...   :noid

Rooks were ganged by knits and bish Tuesday night. Not more than one Bish/Knit field was taken by the other country. Maybe that map has the southern country at a disadvantage but when rooks are up north it's more balanced.
2 countries verses 1, 280 players V 116 makes for a great horde opportunity. Thats great if you love playing with your self as few will defend only to be vulched on the field.
Some good fights though.  :salute to those that don't go with the flow (Horde)

Every country spends their time in the bucket, it seems to go in cycles.   The countries are also a lot more alike than different, you take a sample group of a few hundred people (or however many constitute the population of players who stick to one country or another) you're going to get about the same smattering of personality types.

As someone who flies all three countries at one point or another over the course of a month scoring tour I see and hear the same complaints about this country or that being more organized, or better than the country where the complaints are originating.

It does seem like the bish are on the down and out numbers wise during US prime time these days, but like other things in AH this too shall pass. :)

yawn.....  As long as the mechanics for incentivizing people to switch to the low numbered side are failing, one country will always have the short end of the stick and 'fair' gameplay will continue to cease to exist.

Then that means many of them finally understand the point of the game; it's not "winning the map" - it's fighting and having fun doing it.

I think your wrong, the offical Help page from HiTec on Game Play reads:

"Capturing territory through the use of air, land and sea power is the objective in Aces High. "

:lol Hotard, you really need to take a break man. It's clear to me that you're just not having fun anymore. 10 or 12 months away does wonders in how you approach the game, trust me.  :old:
