IMO, the Me323 would be the only transport that would be able to compete with a C47. Trading speed for defensive guns and stronger airframe. I'd definately use it over the C47. A group of Me323 would be both fun to intercept OR fly in.

The Ju52 would only see use for scenarios (Like the short barreled Panzer IV), it's slower than the C47, less manuverable and trades all that for 1x 7.9mm MG. (Or was it 2x?)

In the MA, it would be a hangar queen.

I'm fine with that. You could still get those 10 troops there faster. Or maybe 10 troops + 1 field cargo or just 2 field cargos or 10 vehicle supplies +1 field cargo or 20 vehicle supplies. the possibilities are endless.
