hmm, there is a gap with 307/204..I do not exist :uhoh

But yet I think, therfore I am :headscratch:
How many kills have you gotten since Lusche pulled the data for that chart?  Perhaps something close to 307/204?

Very difficult to tell, as it was just a byproduct of a bigger and more complex process. The data had already been there, was just another idea to filter  process and present it in a different way. I was originally looking for a way to determine the "dominance factor" for individual players, which was originally something I did for fighter planes and tanks. And this "dominance factor" is in turn a try to find out if any notable changes had happened to the pilot vs pilot balance (vets vs noobs, butchers vs baby seals) over the last 10 years.
Basically I started with that stuff more than a year ago.

If everything works out as planned , this one will be much different from my previous ones. Those have become kinda boring, there is not that much change beyond "...the La-7 went 4 places up in the usage chart. And now for the newest entry in the AH hit parade... ".
So as I hate routine work, I plan something different, not limited to this year but selected stuff from 2001 to 2011. "Change & Constancy".

Unfortunately real life currently doesn't care much for my "plans", so I just have to see how much I can really commit myself to this ;)

No,you have 511  kills and thus are just outside of that chart. You can find your dot on the large scale map. Just a small tad above the 500 line.

hmm... one could turn this into a nice web based application. Enter your name and select one of many standard and custom score data for each axis, and see your dot highlighted among your fellow pilots

Not that I'm going to do that. I'm trying to get a life, not to wreck it for good  :lol

You may be already too far gone :D

Ok revised is 307/257  I can see myself on the chart now.

May I ask why include "bailed" if you do not count ditch?  Both in my opinion would be a successful end to a sortie.  Being killed is obvious, and captured, would end your cartoon pilots career, however a bail in friendly territory just as a ditch in friendly would not.

Because it's a death in AH too. I only dropped discos this time to speed things up a bit, on this scale it didn't matter that much - and also this was never meant to be a "serious", "official" chart anyway. ;)
