So your telling me that if you go to a party of 40-50 people, after an hour or so of walking around and listening to conversations you still haven't a clue as to which people you should avoid, which might be interesting, which may have things in common with you?

The BBS and the arenas are pretty much the same. I have met 20+ people from the game, and while what they looked like in some case really surprised me the type of person/personality didn't not. Sure there are some who claim to have "personas", but I think you would be surprised, as they might that in most cases what you see is what you get.

Human nature is what it is, it doesn't change very much.
The Deciding factor in your example is How many people at that party actually engage in public conversation. How many do you actually talk to? 7?10?12?

Say you only hear 12 people in conversation, is that a good enough observation to judge the other 38 out of 50 people? I'd hope not.
Take Scorpion for example, if you were at that party, and you overheard scorpion's conversation of him foolishly trying to convince people that a p47D11 can easily outperform a f6f Hellcat, Would you judge me, someone who hasn't even spoken to you yet, because of his conversation? i'd hope not. I don't think you should judge the group as a whole by the stupidity of a few. And that few im speaking of is those who ramble on in chat.

They need to make the masses happy and just introduce a poll like this.

(Image removed from quote.)
Del wants a poll like this:
( ) P-38 H
( ) P-38 H
( ) Boulton Paul Defiant
( ) P-38 H
 :bolt:
The Kanonenvogel had 6 rounds per pod, this is not even close to being open for debate.

I don't want the P38H; it is redundant and covered well by the 38G and J.

I'd rather see something that fills the holes in the plane set, instead of an aircraft that won't get much play in a scenario environment and even less play in the MA.

How do I remove Skorpion and Tyrannis from my accounts version of the BBs?
I've had my fill the rest of my AH days.

Again, you don't read and comprehend so well do you. Remember the part where I said I have been here over 10 years strait, with thousands and thousands of hours in the game? I think that is a much wider sampling and can easily be used to come to a conclusion. Also remember that human nature abounds outside of this game and with over 50 years experience at real life I can also use that to help me come to these conclusions.

I see hundreds of people who have been playing this game for months and years even, every week who STILL don't understand how to dogfight, how to dive bomb WITHOUT augering their plane. I'm am VERY sure that the majority of the people who are voting haven't a clue about each of the planes on the list.

If this was true, then how is it possible for the meteor to be voted in simply because its the "latest and greatest" uber ride most of you have been saying the "Dweebs" are wanting?
They know nothing about it, so how do they know enough about it to think its an uber ride if they haven't a clue about the jet at all?

Wise old farmer once said: "Do not count your chickens before the eggs hatch."

I've already done the matchup many times from both planes with some pretty accurate flight modeling.
