Bombing and gunning at the same time really?

No, bombing and viewing your damage at the same time. Or gunning and viewing your damage at the same time. The damage list collides with both of them, making them illegible. Less of a problem now that the damage list defaults to a single line instead of every component, but still extremely clunky.

Okay, got it.  I noticed the two do overlap.  Like you said also in gunner's position where it is more critical.  So, it would be nice to have damage list, maybe display in the rt upper hand corner not to interfere with the readout.

But as far as the bombadier window goes, still a great job  :D

:rofl You all can continue to use whatever you like.  I would like to show some gratitude for something that was and is needed.  I don't think you have to worry about HTC taking away E6B.  :lol

OOZ,

Maybe not but all that I have seemed to get in response, with the exception of yours, has been examples of usage of E6B that go further to prove my point of its clumbsiness during bombing compared to a simple display counter right next to its calibrated counterpart.

Yes, I do value others opinions, but there was nothing very different from what I have been doing prior to this improvement.  This leads me to an opinion that some may feel that there should be some more dials to read or buttons to push in order to level bomb.  I am of another opinion, and feel that anything that adds more accuracy for level bombers, will reduce the gamey lanc - stuka, and noe lanc raids.

Scraping formations of Lancasters against the calm sea waves and laying carpet over a town is nothing near as much fun having a group of altitude bombers in a tight box using precision to knock out targets.

No wind and auto-calibration already made level bombing very accurate and in my opinion too easy.

Having the calibrated speed displayed will not all of a sudden make the lanc-stukas or NOE carpet-bombers want to climb to altitude.  I'm fine with the display however HTC wants it. Since it's now easier to see your speed, it's time to take away the auto-calibration...

It's absolutely not a lack of accuracy that prevents players from taking bombers to medium to high altitude for "regular" bombing runs. If fact, they are already uncannily accurate.
It's often either because it's "boring" (long climbouts) - Or because often it's simply less effective in it's impact on the "war". That's why often heavy fighter bombers are preferred. (lanc-stuka and to some extend lanc noe's are actually quite rare compared to more "regular" bomber usage, but that's one of those everlasting AH myths...)

If you want to increase regular level bombing missions, you gotta have to give them targets that are attractive AND do require the utilization of level bombers
