For the bombers is it going to be just the kills or will the damage points also be calculated?

who cares which plane you fly, what matters is that you have fun.  many times I have spent hours in the tower just bs with countrymen and squadies and having more fun than if I had been flying.

Because its fools like us who give airtime to these birds. Many new players would never see 2/3rds of the planes in this game otherwise.

The number of times a newer player has found my D3A an had no idea about it. One pass and they try reverse too quick, burn E and then fine me on their six pinging away with BBs. I get another kill and they learn that any plane (even a 40 eny bomber) can kill you if flow correctly.

 :aok  It has a historical flair to it.  I was just reading a bit about the Me410 and it stuck out there was one pilot that was given credit for a number of kills in that plane.  The discussion pitted his group against allied bombers and their escorts.

There are no stats available for planes other than kills and deaths.

There is no easier way then looking up the pilots for a plane for each tour and then add everything up. If you are just interested in the top 3, you can choose to wait until I publish the stats in January for all of 2010. Or do it yourself.  ;)

Per tour....

Go To the Main AW2 page: http://www.hitechcreations.com/
Go To the Scores & Stats drop down menu on the Top Right
Choose Statistics--> Plane
Choose a Late War tour.
Click on a Plane Name. Not Kills, Deaths or Kill/Death Ratio.
You can now sort by Player Name (default), Kills, Deaths, or Kill/Death Ratio.
Sort by Kills---> Top in Kills per Plane per Tour.

I also like to compare Deaths and Kills/Death to see if someone with a 6/1 KD actually flew more than one sortie in that particular vehicle.
