That would depend on what they mean by experimental. The 1941 version had both it all depends on how it was used? Kind of hard to believe though that this would be a late war bomber though. Still looking for more info.

Edit: After reading my links that I posted in depth looks like 1942 on wards was external bombs & not until early 1945 that internal bombs were used as well.

It's cute-n-all but after the first 72 hours in the game only a 2-weeker is going to fly it. It will be a hangar queen al la deluxe on steroids. The only reason I oppose it (since its no skin off my back if you want to die gloriously) is that HT would spend time on this as opposed to more useful contributions such as the Yak-3, D.520, some Japanese birds or the P-61.
