Cant you buy Mustang for 30G's invest another 20 and make it just as straight line quick?
by the time you've bought the car, stripped it, modified the suspension, changed the rear, brakes, added the supercharger, and engine(remember, the cobrajets use 5.4 liters), built and installed either the race ready c4, or powerslide, installed the rollcage, installed the associated electrical and fuel systems, if you aren't over that cost, you're gonna be pretty dam close....then there's all of your labor too.
or if you happen to be financially blessed, you can cut a check for 90-100k, and go racing.

i think the boss302r(i think they may have changed that designation to s for 2012) costs about the same, and remember,.....they came within a bears hair of taking the manufacturers championship from bmw in the continental tire challenge this year. and that is again in a factory built car.

i basically just posted that link, 'cause it's a ford drag racers wet dream on wheels.
