World of Tanks anyone?

So today i finally got off my lazy butt and picked up where i left off in WoT. Anyone else play lately? I guess they finally fixed most of the balancing issues, as my M3 Lee/BT-7 arent being thrown in with IS-3's and T32's. Also, is there a clan/company that all the AH-ers play in?

I played every day for the better part of the year. Gave it up about 3 months ago or so. Computer was having a hard time playing it, and I just got bored. I love Aces High in the fact that it can be 2-3 v 1 and if you're good, you can still win. Getting ganged in WoT is a death sentence.

To clarify though, I did not quit because I don't like being ganged, just didn't turn out to be "my thing".

I have a T34 (heavy US), a Slugger TD and the M40/43 SPG.

The T34 is so much garbage I've stopped playing the game altogether because of it. Im just waiting for them to make it into a premium tank and give me the M103.

Slugger is fun but the matchmaker is so forked it keeps putting me vs. E75s and other tier 9 and 10s.

M40/43 is joygasm gallore. Past 500m it takes off half of most tank's HP per shot and inside 500m by using AP rounds, it can 1-shot anything tier 8 and below...and give Tier9's and 10's a true WTF??? moment as 80% of their HP vanishes XD in one shot.

ive fought in a few tier 5/6 clan wars and won. not to mention id have to no-life this game for about 4 months to get past tier 8 on what im currently sitting on.
BTW i dont do clan wars that often any more because of all the "W3 n33dz t3h T13R 10 T4nKz to W1n!!!" idiots.

SPG's are fun, especially the M7 Priest and the Hummel. i love scaring the crap out of tier 7 tanks when i 1 shot them with my Hummel.
Tank destroyers are the easiest to 1 shot with Hummels, they tend to stay still and wait for them to be hit. (SU-100's arent as good as you think!)

It is by far the most realistic tank combat simulator out there now.

Ive nocked out tiers 7-9 tanks with my sherman 105mm during the Beta. Highest tier kill i got was on a Maus with it. (Granted, i dont think the guy who had it knew what he was doing, because he only shot at me twice, and kept running into buildings)

A clan of tier 5s and 6s will not beat a clan of tier 9s and 10s.

Tyrannis, almost all of the tanks in there are capable of killing every other tank. a 105mm Sherman can easily take out a low % Maus.

Im not saying an entire clan of tier 5 tanks can beat higher tier clans. Im just saying don't count a tank out just because its a lower tier.

Heh, sorry, but a Sherman will not take on (and beat) a Maus 1v1 like that. Again, almost any tank is capable of destroying any other tank depending on the situation. In this case, it must have been a multi v one.

Nope. forget the name of the map. It was one of those urban city maps. the one with the train yard. He fired at me twice, missed both times, and kept driving forward. I just got behind him and kept blasting at his 6 with HEAT rounds while he kept driving. fired about 7 heat rounds, then normal AP rounds the rest of the time. Idk what his deal was, but he didnt know how to use the mause.

Someone had hit him before me tho, because his health was 98% when he drove past me.
