Sorry lusche, I don't know the name of the current map, with the large island.  Whatever it is, that is the one.

What was funny is that bishop and knight fighters were hovering above the island all morning at 20,000 feet even as the bases were captured.

when TT is 100 percent one country, the fight becomes two coutry hordes, TT has a nice way of balancing out the fight, IMO.

Those fields were taken by rooks using ground vehicles mostly.

The irony was that the dar bars were showing a considerable amount of bishop and knights in the air there while the rook dar bar was minimal or not displayed at all.

Blame the furballers who self enrich with fighter points but can't be bothered with the results of the ground war.

I disagree. One squad took credit for the capture and judgin by their scores they may have seen the island as long hanging fruit compared to others. Regardless of defense furballers etc. the point is it disrupts the fight significantly, again in my opinion. What harm could there be if the tree central tank bases were uncapturable.

I would rather see the air bases uncapturable or the rooks will just take all of them and bomb the hell
 out of everyone.

Sure, airbases, Vbases, which ever, if you remove the possibility of the island being captured, more folks might stay there for the nice short fights.  The most of the rest of the vspawns on that map are quite far apart.
