Do you even read posts before you comment?

i said i go snowboarding and dirtbiking. (dirtbiking as in with the motorized bikes and the ones you have to pedal)

I play on the same senior league baseball field that Jay Bruce did  :D
well im talking about my school here, OWHS is one sad little school for sports. we were the first football team to ever lose every single game this season.

I don't think anyone on this board plays PROFESSIONAL sports.

:rofl

do you even know how to put a snowboard on? do you know the different levels of a snowboarding hill? do you even know what the W-### stands for on the bottom of the board? (this is only on some boards, not all of them have it) and i dont play any professional sports, neither do you, but i used to play baseball in 6th-8th grade but i quit on that because it just got boring.

also, have you ever pedaled a 20 pound dirtbike up a 70 foot hill through mud/snow/grass just to get to a 2 foot drop on the other side? i bet not. you didnt even see the part where i said i do both forms of dirtbiking.

no to the snowboard, Only place close enough to do such a thing is in another state. I could most likely do it tho. done harder things in my life.
dirtbike part, yes. not much,  but yes. I BMX. Tho, BMX'ing is just a hobby. i dont call myself an athlete in the BMX field because i dont officially do it. I just do it for fun.

You played baseball for your school? well, that would of qualified you for the term athlete i guess back in 6th-8th grade.

I played baseball from peewee up to 6th grade. Took a ball to the left eye. After that i just couldn't play it anymore. Still have problems with my eye from it.

Played football from pee-wee to my senior year.  dam good at it too. Caused a couple injuries. Sustained a few myself.  i miss it. one of the best on the team.

Playing football for the school, on an actual team, against an actual other team. would make me an athlete.

Doing a sport in your spare time alone, would not.

Answer me this, if i had never played football before, and i got together with some friends, and played street football one day, would that make me an athlete?

nope. until you get a true understanding of the game, and play it more than once and get the general concept of it, you could consider yourself an athlete.

however, there are major league tournaments for snowboarding/dirtbiking at the X-Games. that stuff is pretty professional if you ever watch it, not to mention they have snowboarding at the world olympics.

BTW you live in ohio right? im pretty sure theres at least one ski resort there that allows snowboarding of some sort, depending on the snow being fake or not. and trust me, snowboarding isnt as easy as you think it is...slapping on a board then going down a hill is not the way its done. if you do that your more than likely going to plop on your face as soon as you shove off the edge.

The thing is though that this will probably never happen again because it occurs only at young ages (mainly 14-16). Thats because the bone isnt at its full strength. If this was to happen again the tendon would snap instead of the bone giving.

Hmmm.  I had that happen when I was 42 I think...except it was a tendon in my thumb tore a chunk of bone loose.

sorry. tyrannis always has a stick up his happy hole, and needs to bite my ankles (and pretty much everyone elses) just so he can either ruin a thread or be a nusicance.

anyways, ill stop posting here so tyrannis can get his fill in and leave...such a big ego for such a small guy.

Hate to break it to you Skorpion but it takes two to tango and you dont help the situation at all by antagonizing the situation.
So lets put our big boy pants on and settle this.
