They're built for ramming, the name's telling you to dodge.

Personally, i think dodge makes the best car commercials.
Saw the new journey commercial, and it sounded kinda heartfelt. Nicely put together, good presentation of the product. :aok

Then i saw a commercial for some new chevy car. And it was just basically the car being pushed out the back of a plane with a parachute on, then it shows it freefalling with a bunch of skydivers.
made me go  :huh. what point are they trying to get across?

It's an extreme way of demonstrating that their cars obey the laws of gravity, so that customers can be sure when they're driving their Chevrolet around some day they won't just spontaneously go careening through air and end up getting tangled up in power lines.

That's always embarrassing.

From what I understand it's Chevy's response-commercial to the growing number of Fords being found on top of houses, in trees, and stuck in billboards. Kinda' like all those stopping distance commercials that were on TV all the time after the Toyota fiasco.

almost looks like it may be a contour,,,,,,,,,,,,

i've got a mystique...the mercury version.....at the shop, with a 2.5 liter mazda v-6 in it. thing is scary fast, although not as fast as a customers contour svt. unfortunately, that persons son sent that controur careening into the woods, as he thought he was mario andretti for a moment.

My brother used to have MX6 with the same engine. That thing didn't live past the first 4 inch deep puddle.

We call them "Mercury Mistakes" and for good reason!  Those things (along with the Contour) were plagued with electrical problems.  I do have to agree though.. that 2.5 makes them quick and fun to drive ESPECIALLY the SVT.  Kind of reminds me of the Ford Tempo with the 3.0 in it!

It's a contour.  The tail lights are a giveaway.  My bro has one with a badge in the same spot.  It reminds everyone that it IS, in fact, a V6.  Piece of crap.

EDIT: It could still be a Merc, but yeah...  Same thing.
