There are some guys that do very well trying to get my bombers up high.  I will leave the definition of "high" to your interpretation.  These guys fly Spits, P-51s, and P-47s, so far as to my encounters.  Ta-does a good job at 30,000 feet and he was waiting for me.  Ta- not so good higher up.  Ta- has the highest altitude range in the game, I think, I've had it to 40,000 feet, but good luck with that!

They have all lost except the one guy that, he said, unintentionally rammed me tail through nose and kept going, but he died.  My question is, if they died, I did not get their points, why?  So I figure they lost control and bailed after my icon went blank.  I saw them go poof!  One guy replied I did a good job shooting at him and hitting him.

What is very hard to win, is being bounced by more than one guy.

I have learned a few tricks as to my video card settings and game setup that improve my bomber's guns and there is no cheating involved.  Those same settings work a wee bit better in my fighters.

I always go in high and escape higher with bombers.  Take lots of gas!  Well, always, since maybe I got a bit smarter since I began here.

B-24 does not fly high enough to escape.

I like long range bombing sorties as it is much like playing chess.

A typical outing is 2 hours and about 28,000 damage units incurred if I do it correctly.

Bombing the outback city as to points, is a waste of time.

If you're at 30k feet, you will meet the 110G.

If you're at 40k feet, you will meet the spit XIV.

If you're at 80k feet, you will meet the me163.

Not sure what you mean the Ta isn't good, I've flown at 40-44k in an FSO event once and It pretty much does what its suppose to do - turn circles around every plane while holding E like no tomarrow, 30-40k I would say the Jug holds the cards.

Most likely if he rammed you, and you didn't score any hits on him then its a simple "bail" and you don't receive anything more then a proxy - I've done this a few times flying C205s, I tend to slash attack from 9-10 and 2-3clock, problem is Drones just love to jump the second you pound the lead, which almost always is the reason I will never attack a lead no more unless its a headon. Any case someone gets credit but no perks for it.

Not sure why you tend to fly so high, I rarely bother wasting my time with someone above 20k, I guess If you find it interesting.

You just answered the question as to why he flies high.

It's because you (and many others) rarely bother with fighters above 20k.

I rarely bother with bombers below 20k and instead go after the milkrunners who ruin thier countrymen's chances of taking a field because they dropped a single bomb on every town center.
