Reminds me so much of my dad, didn't grow up with him, saw him 1 day before he passed after 23 years apart.

Fathers, no matter what, don't ever think for a second your children do not love and remember you, even if they spend a life time away from you.

What kind of man would i have been with him in my life, doesn't matter..i am a simple kind of man. ;)

But if you do have family still, don't pass up today to let them know how much you love and appreciate them. They need to hear it just like YOU need to say it, pick up that phone, or pay a visit.

After 23 years, i kissed a corpse on his for head and layed my american flag on his chest, and said good bye to the man i owe my very existence too, even if he never really knew me.

Either way ya gotta keep $%^&in' rockin' on.  :rock

Guys its that time of year. Holidays can be a depressing time as so many folks remember those that arent there with them. Please remember to focus on the positive aspects of your lives and those around you. Dont get swept up in the down times. Take steps to ward off those holiday blues. Attend a church service if your into that. Do a good deed for someone in need of help. Make somene feel as if they have a guardian angel on the planet just for them. Above all else remember if you feel down and out there is always someone in a worse situation than yourself. Consider yourself fortunate and move ahead........

Well, I haven't lived yet, so I cannot say from experience.

But there is one person who I can honestly say I love to death, she is my best friend and yeah, but you know, in too late. She has had one hell of a time in her life but she keeps kicking and I honestly do not know how she does it. But I think of her if I hear this song (and in advance I was a fan when I was young)

I am sacrificing my manliness here... but yeah.

When my friend killed himself in october, i was pretty much on the edge of the cliff. didnt know what to do, spiraled into depression, and eventually raged out on a few junkyard cars and realized that it wasnt the end of the world. i just needed to get rid of something that was inside me, yeah im still pretty sad about the loss, but i'll move on.

this song made me realize that i gotta accept it.

This song, however on the other end, is just amazing. ozzy just seemed to be perfect for it.

No song for me it's just this time of the year. My wife was diagnosed with cancer on Christmas Eve 2009 so now every Christmas is special to us, and yes we did get rid of the doctor that called the house at around noon on Christmas Eve to say "Hey I got the results back and it's cancer."

Amazing Grace is a hard one for me to sit through, especially if the song is being played on bagpipes at a funeral.  Guaranteed to get a tear from me.

Butterfly Kisses is going to be my downfall if/when my little girl ever marries off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FyjKQvWKw8

Ozzy's "Life Wont Wait" hits home for me, not because I used drugs, drank heavily, or fought with wifey (did none of them), but rather to not let life pass me by, make the most of it while I can. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAh_SCjCh8A&feature=BFa&list=FLVNDcR9nmGPsj4ubY0feQjA&lf=mh_lolz

There are a few other than make me take a deep breath when I hear them.
