Who knows how it will be classified.  If I had to bet it would be a "Bomber/Attack", or maybe just "Bomber" since it will be able to carry gv supplies like the C47, and deliver them while stopped on the ground.  Who knows.

and can land but not drop vehicle supplies

Yes it will, you'll just have to land them.

I think some unarmed recon planes would be cool........especially since many were later converted for armed missions.

I would love to see the C6N here and would fly it to find enemy CV.

The reason why we got 156 is because it can take off V bases and ports, Lysander would not be able to do that.

What do you mean by STOL capability? Do the have the numbers?

Fi 156 can take off in 200ft and land in 60ft, also it's capable of doing that on rough terrain. Not too many planes can do that.

156 yards but remember it could fly twice the speed of the fi 156 in level flight, carried 2 forward firing .303s, rear cock pit guns, and could carry 500 pounds of bombs.

Looking at the other aircraft we have in AH will that extra speed and guns really give it any advantage?

I do like the 500lb bomb but I don't know if HTC will let us operate it from a V base.

Lysander certainly isn't as STOL as Storch but would certainly be able to take off from Ports and VHs just like practically any fighter in the game can if it lands on one first.
