A disappointed horde
« on: December 17, 2011, 11:28:01 PM »
Lets see a little more defense next time please.

After the 100+ bombers hit a good many rtb'd to the nearby base that we first left from and flew in goons.  Possibly the least eventful take of the day.

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Now think about it plz.
Who wanna fly a sector to that v-base only to face B17s? 3*14*50cals per set. Even a 262 will be nearly fatally injured after killing 2-3 sets... Then get chased down by the escort fighters?

If you honestly want a fight, try not flying NOE to an out of the way field and killing all the hangars. A mission that size could climb to 30k fly five sectors into enemy territory and hit hq/strats on the way in and out.

Attacking that mission at 30k would be fun as hell and 'kind of' historically accurate.

You mean 10 109s vs 100 buffs and 20 escorts? Sounds kinda simmilar to the "American Summer" (1944, Hungary)

Disappointed that more wirbles didnt come out.  Lots of kills could have been had by all.

Nothing wrong with the rejects, they do what they do, and you do what you do :aok I would say hording a base for the"goal of capturing it" is much better and more sporting than those who troll the edge of bases looking for easy "overly advantaged" kills, or spawn camp!  :aok, where do you fit?   :x

you do everything possible to avoid a fight, then complain that theres no fight ...

should have announced it on 200 10mins before you lifted, you might have had a bunch of 190s and rows of ostis there to meet you.
