User made Terrains & how to get it ?

HTC just a quick question:

When i made my own new Terrain with the
upcomming Editor, starting H2H with
the new Terrain, how will the User
who joins my game get the new Terrain ?

a.) automatic, like in games ala HL.
b.) from your web page via FTP.
c.) ?

sfterr.res is aprox 3mb, so the Host needs
a good bandwith if 7 Players start to dl.

Plan is for auto download. After compresion with winzip the file is less that .5 meg.

hey G,

i'm getting a big interest in the artwork of AH, and would very much like to get into creating my own fields as well. First question: how do i get started? kind of broad i know but couldn't think of how else to put it. What programs will i need as far as editing or rendering?

Would appreciate your input or any other help!!

masson22, alot People waiting for this Terrain
Editor. We have not much information on this so far, but SUPERFLY told as a bit about the
Editor.
You will mostly using/moving vertices to create
the landscape.
If you are familiar with 3dsMax or other 3D software,
i dont think you will have much trouble to learn this Editor.
Masson22 we just have to wait
a bit longer, until then i started to draw
my Maps on Paper, doing some scribbles
