Scam Alert
« on: December 30, 2011, 12:47:44 PM »
1-425-998-1533.

If you get a call from this number it's a scam. They will tell there is something wrong with your computer and only they can help you fix the problem. If you do what they say you'll be infected with a virus and they'll have access to all the personal information stored on your hard drive. The only way to remove the virus is to reformat the drive and reinstall Windows and all your programs.

For most people the sky is the limit.  For a pilot the sky is home.

Um, yeah...right - I'm gonna believe somebody that I've never heard of from a number I don't recognize has access to my computer and know there's a problem with it.  Lordy, people are dense that fall for stuff like that.

My favorite is the emails from 'FBI "Aegnt" John Currie', telling me how, while serving as official Diplomat to the Sudanese Monarchy, they discovered that said Prince (sometimes even the King himself  :P) is aware of my existance and has somehow stolen several million from me, despite the fact that I've only been old enough to be officially employed for a few years now.

I keep telling Mr. Currie I'm aware of the fact that Sudan doesn't have a monarchy, that FBI agents don't serve as "official diplomats", and that I really don't care about my lost millions, but he doesn't listen.

The FBI really needs to raise its standards  :ahand.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

If they're a chick I put some load porn on and start chatting them up. If they're a guy I pretend I cannot understand them and ask them to repeat everything several times, then I chat them up.
