Im pretty sure if he works on cars, he could find the pieces of the plane and duct-tape it back together. :D

naww.. he's a 'tecneshan'... he'd need an 'enginerd' and a 'deseyener' to give him prints to not be able to read before he resorted to duct tape and superglue..

sorry Cap.. Had to  :devil

PBY

Id fly all over the Caribbean....port to port

Sunsets and salt air

Margaritaville everynight baby.....Cheeseburger in paradise  :aok

Pure genius :aok

I'd have to get a P-51. It just can't get old flying one with the speed and that bubble canopy. Plus chicks dig the Mustang, scientific fact.

A P-61 and and a Ki-84 would round me out just fine.

Spit VIII
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

We got our P51 from a gate gaurd. It had all of 40 hours on it as well.

But why get that when you can get a Glacier Girl for a cool 2mil and restore it to you liking? there are still at least 5 left up there.

that would be cool.......but too hard to do for me anyway.

If I had the money, I would be the biggest hero of the WWII aviation community ever.

First things first, Id free up all the planes stuck in Greenland ice.  Then on to anything and everything else that I could get my hands on.

I rather pull a 38 out of the ice than buy one sitting on static display, because I want to improve the numbers of aircraft.

I saw a TV show where a couple converted a Catalina into a flying coach.  That would be pretty awesome.
