like i previously noted,
two teams would mean HTC will stop screwing 1/3 of their subscribers with hording from the other 2/3.
much better that two mega hordes exist to fight each other than they keep capturing undefended/indefensible bases from the other third country.
.. or maybe mega hordes will be minimized since with two countries there will actually be people who will be able to pork and defend?
There is no way to magically change players attitudes. Why should they suddenly start to pork and defend in a two-sided war? If they didn't care for it before, they won't care for it then. What is called 'mega hordes' is not there because there are tow, three, four of ten sides.
Players loving attack and ignoring defense will continue to do so. In worst case, you will simply have one horde dominating one sector of the front while the opposing horde will rape another.
WHat is also being left out is the fact that with three teams, every side will be ganged upon once in a while. With only two sides, you may quickly end up in one faction getting bigger and bigger, and the other smaller and smaller (this would be is massively amplified in an Allied vs Axis setup, which is also often wished for in this context).
Shuffling players without "affiliation' won't work, as there are actually very few players without a squad, and most of them are twoweekers, so they can't help the outnumbered side for the most part.
And to think that this would stop any 'spying' is , excuse me, quite naive. Sometimes people seem to be quite obsessed when spotting players of the same squad on different countries. I for one am convinced that any actual 'spying' is done waaaaayyyyy less obvious. Wouldn't a true spy do everything to avoid such attention at all?
