Geez, I thought 10 M16's and Wirble's was pretty impressive, considering they're dedicated anti aircraft

I didn't watch the film, but did you actually kill the wirbles? Or did you just hit them and get the kill from either a .ef capture proxy or someone finishing them off?  Not to mention seven of which was on the same noob.  How is any of that "pretty impressive"?  And what does any of that have to do with a Spitfire?  You can do that in any plane with bullets.  Find a noob in a tank, hit him a few times and get a proxy/credit.  How was your epic accomplishment exclusive to the spitfire?

LOL. I was expecting vulches, but instead he killed m16's and he cashed in on turreted in wirbles that would bail out to get a new working turret.

I know this because I was by him when he got these kills.

Why are you attacking me so much on this?

I never said anything about skill.  I did say that in order to win our bet I had to get creative.  I did say what problems I had with trying to win, and I did say how I planned to accomplish it.

I figured I'd get some flak for the post, I didnt think it would be from you, sheesh

Mutter.. the other day I took out a spit9.. didn't really think to film... ended up a few miles from a knit base, with maybe one other bish... no vulches, not really "takeoff pattern" camping either, as they were able to get some manuvering speed (plus base/town ack close.)  :joystick:

Anyway, friendly died eventually and I decided it was time to try and saunter home (a spit can't really run) with about 5 20mms and 400 .303's and two peeved knits coming after me.  :airplane:

I got one of the knits with some help about 1/2 way home... the ummm "help" would have been better going after the jug instead of the lala i was cicrling with (bingo ammo)... he finishied off the lala giving me 8 kills (all vs planes, all in air)... the jug got me...  :bhead

In any case, 10 is doable in any of the spits except maybe the mk1 and it does help if you choose your shots carefully.  :aok

I did film the attempt to run home, showing the 8th kill... I just wasn't expecting to have such a tally. See how easy the spit is?

On a side note, yesterday 1/14 was a good day, I was getting 4-5-6 kills per sortie in the lala, helping me to achieve my short-term goal of getting a 2:1 k/s)  :ahand

I have scheduled the 2-1 kill ratio achievement party for Shane at Whammo Jump House for the first weekend in Feb.  All are welcome...no beer, no wine, no cheese...just cake and ice cream please...he will be in the room next to Johnny's 7th birthday party.

:huh Spit8, that is.   Spit9, you wouldn't be bragging.  I'm still learning the Spit8, she's more awkward turning slow, especially with fuel heavy wings.   :headscratch: :salute

Anyways I never said ten landed is not doable.  Very good pilots, like Bruv :rock, Levi  :rock, and Kazaa  :rock can do it often.   I just said it is not easy.

Shane, did you land ten and post the film?  No.  :)

Where'd you learn that?
