No Time Limit.
Who are we to say how the game should be played? We all pay money to have access to the servers and log on, what constitutes as fun to one does not mean the same to another.
The whole idea of this game is to promote combat, if I had prior knowledge of an attack that I WOULD LOVE to intercept then I think my $15 has earned me the right to have my own fun. Now you can argue is it fair to the attacker? Of course it is...he has unlimited lives and I think we can all agree that if they wanted a milk run they can go offline...
Why no time limit? Why not 1 hour? 2? 3? Because when I switch sides (i do a lot) on average I stay for a couple of hours without thinking of switching to another side. So even without a time limit you will not see people switching sides every 5 minutes... I would be willing to bet that the amount of switching would only slightly increase if no time limit was put in place...
I think the strongest argument is that this is not a box game like CoD or Battlefield...we do NOT pay for a "what you see, is what you get" game... we pay for the development of a company who's market is not exactly massive... Computer, WWII, Air Combat, Simulation...
This game evolves with its' players, it has to evolve with the type of game play that is manageable by the players... in this day in age of everything has to be done now...many of us work full time, and a lot of us go to school as well... time is not really in abundance with some of us and for me, a paying customer, to have to wait to have fun with a game that I pay my hard earned money for is NOT ACCEPTABLE...
