Postponed because of weather.
On my private check ride got weathered out, but the check pilot let me do the oral, weather, flight planning and reviewed all the aircraft log books and my log book. We met the following Saturday for just the check ride.
At my third check point on my cross country which was a towered airfield, he had me do a power off spot landing . He told me to fly back to my home base, had me do a few stalls under the hood and asked me if I was going to get my commercial. That was that.
Try to relax, if he asks you something you can’t remember, tell him you can’t remember but you know where to look, then look it up. AIM is your friend. Be Honest, he knows your nervous if you make a mistake don’t sweat it. Admit it and move on. Remember to trim, spot your check points keep track of your time. I always tell my students that if it’s poor VFR it might be best to wait . You want to be able to take off and see your first two check points if possible, while departing the pattern of the departure airfield.
Good luck and enjoy it.
