I agree with Talos ........ Give drunks bullets an AI to shoot at the nearest enemy player / object. Then we can have drunk battles............... Better switch drunk icons off.

Make all drunks and chutes vulnerable to both enemy and freindly fire.

Just make it so a bailed pilot returns directly to tower once he hits the ground.
Columbo

Fate whispers to the warrior "You cannot withstand the storm" and the warrior whispers back "I AM THE STORM"

Ok, it's easier to kill 1 of 10 guys rushing into a room you're in for them to kill 1 of you.

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Here's an off-the wall idea. Bail a pilot or two to rush the maproom with the troops and shoot at the maproom defender(s).

Gunfight at the Maproom Corral?  :lol

Whatever gets the players rocks off. Just not seeing it all that unfair if the invaders have the same capacity/capability as the defenders.

Now, do I wanna be the pilot that bails for a gunfight on the turf? Not so much. But I may do it just to make a point now and again.  :D

It doesn't make alot of sense to give up aircraft guns and speed to "Rambo" the maproom though.  I guess your Spanish
Civil War birds could come in handy for clearing the maproom....they don't move fast enough to overshoot running infantry  :D

To answer the OP's whine thoughtful post Im say: Bring more than one set of troops, strafe the maproom, and bring more friends.

I havn't really had any issue with the bailed pilot in the map room thing, it was rarely encountered ... BUT with the storch at the V bases, we are now getting guys who are bailing without ever taking off and strolling to the map room to thwart EVERY troop drop ... STRAFE THE MAP ROOM is becoming a regular reminder before looseing troops ... I doubt this is what HT had in mind.

whine? buy a dictionary :P

They're free now, actually -

whine   /ʰwaɪn, waɪn/  Show Spelled [hwahyn, wahyn]  Show IPA verb, whined, whin·ing,  noun
verb (used without object)

1. to utter a low, usually nasal, complaining cry or sound, as from uneasiness, discontent, peevishness, etc.: The puppies were whining from hunger.

2. to snivel or complain in a peevish, self-pitying way: He is always whining about his problems.

Adverb (used with object)
3. to utter with or as if with a whine: I whined my litany of complaints.
