You've lost faith in the world or in humanity? Because I'm definitely the latter.

To me it looks like we humans are going to destroy the finest country on Earth from the inside out. And the rest of the world will probably soon follow.

Sometimes I think about starting over. Obviously I don't want our species to be wiped out. Just civilization. I think we have great potential. I really do. We've just kinda gone off the deep end. 

But until then, I'll just keep workin' my 9-5 for bread crumbs, hoping to get that one big break, and enjoying life for what it is in the meantime (as much as I can anyway).

Both really. I completely agree about civilization, and society too. I feel like I'm living in Rome as it collapses. I feel like there's no saving us.

I don't blame him. I expected no less from the majority of the community to be honest. It's still rather shocking to me that some of you guys would so willingly offer up an ear. It means a lot, gives me hope.
