maybe we havnt found him yet. they seem to think it's me.

Judging by the way your suggestions work, and by how accurate some of the information you put on here seems to be, I don't blame them. Did you ever happen to have the highest honour of knowing him?

no, although I've read many of his post, like the donkey rocket propelled grenade, and my favorite: obituary of David wales. and I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, of my info on my suggestions are 99.9999999999999999% accurate. oh and guys, if david said that he will be banned around feb. 3 or 6th, how come his profile said he was last on feb. 20th?

Ok for the afficianados among you...

P-61B versus A-20.

We can compare charts and stats but which bird is better in the dogfight? I would expect the Mossy owns bot so its up for second place. My vote is P-61B.

Boo
P-61B hands down.  I know that in a fly off against a war weary Mosquito Mk II the P-61A was the superior fighter by a significant margin.

Keep in mind that the Mosquito F.Mk II had significantly lower performance than the Mosquito Mk VI we have in AH and how much additional performance the example in the duel was lacking due to being worn out is not known.

That said, if I were to engage a P-61B with the Mosquito Mk VI we have in AH I would not be turning with the P-61, but rather I'd be trying to use my superior speed.  I am not sure what the P-61's climb rate is like, it has powerful engines, but is very heavy as well.

and yes you will most likely say " you should read up more on your facts before you post." and well i did. nothing came up that said the c variant was post-war.

then you should get better sources.

great article. I think this proves our point/s. I think that puts the P-61a,b and possibly c(ya ya ya, i know, its postwar, but I know a lot of people that would love it in the game) in the waiting lists.

Then you know why it won't be modeled for the game under current HTC policy.

i know its wishful thinking but it would be nice. I was just stating that i would be nce to have it, wasnt realy hoping it would be put into the game.

Great story, which I've read before. In skimming this article twice I only see a reference to "P-61." It is June of 1945, is this the P-61B? Should be on the short list for one of the next birds created.

It was probably a B but the 548th NFS operated both A and B models up until the end of the war.

As for being on a short list, I really don't think so as this plane is not vital or really needed for that matter.  There are already planes in the game that do the job of the P-61 just as good as the P-61 could if it was added to the game.  The P-61 would basically replace the A-20 as an attack craft and as I mentioned, brings absolutely nothing new to the table.

No, this game hasn't had a night time quite a few years.  The game has dawn and dusk times but not night.
