I definitely enjoyed the 1st episode on the Xbox.

Episode 2 got good reviews but lost ground on the surprise factor. If you haven't played the 1st one, you should have a really good time ;)

Got to Chapter 7 before I had to go to bed, I can honestly say I almost pissed myself, I was to lazy to turn the lights on in my room as night fell and before I knew it I was playing in the pitch black with my head phones in. Dad came in to say good night, saw I was looking at the screen and walked over and threw a fake punch at me that came from no where!!! I couldn't see anything behind the lap top and this object just flies at me, my friend on skype said I screamed so loud I gave him hearing problems.

Overall I love the game, its challenging and scary, if its not the necromorphes coming at you its random sounds and such that spook the living crap out of you, I was in the kids day care/school area of the facility and as I walked behind the stage a giant sun dropped from above and hit the ground, bout threw the lap top across the room!  :cry This game is just so awesome

Want a scarier game?

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

If you can survive the whole game (~6 hours) in one sitting, in the dark, by yourself, I will change my in game name to whatever you want.

It's 20$ on steam, but it's so worth it (if you want the experience and bragging rights to say, I finished Amnesia).
Dead Space 2 will seem like Hello Kitty Island after you finish Amnesia.

Oh, and you have no weapons, monsters kill you in 1-2 hits, you're only form of protection is ... nothing.  :)

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

Dead Space 1 gets an 11/10 on the creepiness factor. I'm a little girl when it comes to scary movies/games though. Dead Space isn't so much scary as it is just spine chilling creepy.
