You don't run the file to install it. The file is a test replacement for aceshigh.exe. You put the file in your Aces High folder where you find aceshigh.exe then run the test file to start Aces High.

I am uninstalling, reinstalling, and copying over my copy of the old folder back to the game to try to fix this. I hope I can get it all accomplished before FSO. Wish me luck.

What is the default installation directory for AH? I can create a Junction there.

Simple fix. Rename the test file aceshigh.exe and use it until the update.

Tritest4 has made the rear views in the F4U-1a/c/d/4 worth using in multi axis mode. Multi axis mode shows the limitations of the early AH cockpit models and I hope some like the Yak's will be updated soon.

I still have to revert to 2-axis mode to fly the IL2 becasue the gunsight is not a reflector type. Any chance we can get either the front post added onto the hood or a PBP or PAK inside?

Yep, it's a new version - albeit a test version - that lets you go anywhere and do anything.

Not sure if this was addressed in one of the other test versions.  Have not tested in this one, popped into a M3 and my default position had changed.. Sitting very low in cabin looking at center of steering wheel.  Can't move up/down/left/right.  Can only drive if in upper gun position.  There everything seems to work.. If this has already been addressed, then never mind.. Will try the latest test version tonight.  Thanks

Either.  The patch depends on the executable being the one that came with the complete install.

Reasserting:  DO NOT COPY OR RENAME this test executable to "aceshigh.exe" or you will be screwed!
