Just to point it out, trirtest4.exe appears to have sorted the issues I've noticed as well.  I only had a chance to fly a handful of aircraft, but it worked fine.

I still have the original executable. I just make a shortcut to the test file. Next time I'll recommend the shortcut to Dave. If he deleted his original executable I'll send him a copy of mine if he wants to avoid the full download.
