Seriously, why would someone mock some of the bravest men in history?
I don't see anything wrong with having some fun with history. Comedy has to have an element of political incorrectness or its not funny. If I thought it was genuinely
mean spirited thats another matter but I don't see it there. Its ok to have some fun at national heroes and icons. Its meant as a laugh not as a serious commentary on WW2 veterans. I bet almost every one of the folks in that skit has lost a family member in either WW1 or WW2 and im sure on November 11th every year they are genuinely moved by their sacrifices.
Like Patton has never been spoofed? George Washington? Churchill? David Crocket? there have been a ton of comedys about war(s) and heroes in film, TV and other mediums. It's what makes us who we are.
Leave the folks with zero humor to hide in their caves.
