A T.16000 is probably one of the best low cost sticks on the market right now. I have destroyed 2 of them for failed projects so far and they worked great while I was trying to get an understanding of how the insides worked for those failed projects.

my first stick was a st290, i didnt like'em. when i finally replaced it, it couldnt stay calibrated to the extent that i had to have it all the way to the left to fly level

how long have you had it?

a year or so...quite heavy usage. I bought another one just jn case mine fails, no need for it yet. MickyD had his rudder spicking quite fast, his specific stick might have an issue right out of the box, it can happen with any model.

I got this stick by choice, not money restrictions, I love it as it's quute stiff and very precise with its HAL sensors:)

Agreed. Went through 5-6 cheapo stick before buying a full CH HOTAS. It's lasted 6 years. I realize the initial cost is a bit steep...just sayen.

Keep your eye on the AH classified section. Vudak just sold a complete CH set-up for $125 :rock

gently take it apart, clean it with electronics cleaner, re-grease it with silicone grease...fixed mine for a few more months. If you get excited and do a lot of jerking and hard twisting, you'll need a tougher upgrade HOTAS instead of a cheap stick.

Question. Is the Warthog worth the price? Either way I'd still want one if I wasn't paying for school.
