Ink, try a Bob Ross type scene (mountains, lakes, trees, a cabin and a path, etc) and let's see what it looks like.  Just curious.... not interested in who is better... just would like to see your version. :rock

I'm sure both are amazing.  :aok

ive done them in the past, no interest in that style, unless I was gonna do a tat of it.

thing is I can draw, paint, sculpt, carve..... anything.....any style.... any genre....

I am not the best, never professed to be, I just know what I can do.....and people don't wait 10 years for a piece of your art if your aren't good.

Both are great artist BUT your comparing apples and oranges here.

Bob did natural scenes that are eye catching but lack a high level of detail at closer inspection. Ink does very high detail work that no doubt takes him a very lengthy time to make it the way he wanted.

Both styles are equally as beautiful but in different ways. Inks is something where you go wow I wonder how long he spent on that and Bobs is wow can you believe he did all that so quickly?

thank ya..and you are correct

Ink's artistic ability is incredible.

Thank ya man....

been getting into 3d sculpting as you know...

couple pieces been workin on

Seriously inks pretty good but hes no where near a portrait artist.

 :rofl

:D  he was probably baked out of his mind while painting, thinking he was painting unicorns and gobblins, turned out to be mountains and trees and streams.

I never really took a lot of photos of my work, I was just livin life and inking...not concerned about the convention scene or proving who was the best...

I really don't care what you think actually.....

but if you really wanna see my ink and some portraits that I do have up

Anyone remember the other artists show. I think the guy was German by his accent.
Basically his demeanor was the polar opposite of Rosses.
As opposed to Rosses softly spoken. "you put on happy little leaves"

this guy was more like

"Und you place ze leafs on ze trees like ziz! As he would stab the paint onto the canvas

I guess you missed my post early on in this thread.  ;)

Try William Alexander; same wet-on-wet technique, but with a firey German personality. Both he and Bob were entertaining in their own ways.

Short low-res sample of Bill's show
