Now for what I would use . I have a Browning 22 handgun with 4 brick's of ammo . Then I have my Rem auto 22 rifle and if that don't work I will use my Browning 270 auto or my S&W 9mm or my Horton crossbow .

I like the chainmail and beetles idea the best (as long as the beetles are immune to the zombification process, as previously stated).

Personally I'm inexperienced with actual firearms, but I know how to swing a baseball bat, so I'd start with that.  And hope they're more of the Living Dead type zombies than the 28 Days Later type.  I have however participated in many Humans vs. Zombies games on Purdue's campus.  So at least I have an idea of the kind of things that get people killed.

Cut the ladders off, build a cover over the bucket and install a jib crain to load supplies, and to load and unload your scout vehicle.  If you ran out of ammo, just drops rocks off of it to smash their heads.
