Would folks actually do the work themselves, or just splash some color on top of the void, change the opacity so the stuff below shows through, and call it a skin?
I've seen a number of bad IL2 skins done that way.
You also don't have to use the default AH skins for panel lines. You can go from your own researched templates (i.e. you find your own 3-way views that you think are accurate). I've done that a number of times, and so have a number of other skinners. Sometimes ya just don't trust the panel lines on the defaults
