Also understand that both teams are working their tails off recruiting and doing all kinds of things to make this both fun and interesting. And Im talking about more then just the team CO/XO combos. GLs have been working hard to fill slots and many of the folks involved as pilots are offering their time to contribute to the build up and the history going into this thing.
It's not expected but sure appreciated and encouraged
<------ this guy is tired...not as tired as the lead CMs but the GL's XOs' and OPS Officers are involved in our crew.
Just making lists on rosters, recruiting, BBS name, planning element leads as well as flight leads and wingmen. Trying to figure
out who flies with who. Jug training in some instances...not the MA type but the high alt escort/interceptor role.
And not to mention real life work. This is really a labor of love for a lot of us. Immersion is what can happen when two
serious opposing disciplined crews get together realizing the history behind it, the fun to be had trying to emulate it,
and the men who actually flew and made history. All these things combined equal one thing. FUN!
It sure helps take my mind off of real world problems for awhile. That is what fun is for. This is what DGSII can become!
It's up to all of us.
It is, in the end, our fault if we don't have fun. The tools are here.
