Wow, a 4 sheep bounty.

Still looking for Blue Nosers. PM ME.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

All is good in love and war comrade.

I'm actually glad to see the 56th with such a stout roster.  The real 56th and the real JG11 met many times over Europe, and when I first came to AH and started JG11 the ole AH 56th was a hard master and kicked our butts many a night.  Looking very forward to replaying the historical meetings and repaying the AH ones.   :aok

Well, considering the low registration numbers the last few events, we are trying something different.  Which side have you been flying the last two or three events?  Might be time to try something else.

Oh, and no teamspeak meetings lasting hours on the allied side.

Roc likes to hear himself talk, so he might have those.

Oh Hajo, how are your Barmen doing?

To ROCs point when I was gruppe lead (III/54) and Axis XO during Battle Over Germany it was pretty time intensive. The recruiting, attempts at training, then as XO for all of the walk-on assignments, trying to fit requests, etc. The simple game for me was running 5+ hours per scenario of just administrative work attempting to and make it fun times for all. It was a pain but well worth it, which leads to my 50/50 response now. As busy as it is I know to do it right it will be more then showing up 30 minutes before they close the arena. And with as much lead time before this one kicks off a proper gruppe/squad and Axis/Allied leader is going to spend much time training his crew as opposed to wracking up kills in the MA. And my time commitment was minimal compared to those 6-8 sticks who really pulled off BOG.

These events don't just happen, and much kudos to those who make it look easy. <S>

Boo

Hey Boo.  I didn't see you in the Axis Forum as the 54th's leader this morning.  C'mon man...you can not miss this one.  It is already most unlike others.  I would enjoy serving together again.  A whole heck of allot of teamwork and support being shown by the entire Axis team already.  Get in here man...this is going to be the show of the century, and something the AH community hasn't seen before on this level or intensity.  <S>

Here are a few shots that Jagdfliegers have bad dreams of.

The all to often 6 view of a 190 pilot in the skies over Europe.

And finally a Charcoal that I commisioned by Joel Somerset a few years back. Titled "Thunderbolts Playground.  (And yes this is right side up)
This happens when 190s and P47s try to share the same sky.....the 190s get wasted!  Get out the marshmallows!

...fight'n words, those be.

It's a good thing the 190's will have the skilled pilots of the Bf109 covering them like a warm fuzzy.

Like on this day... when Rall blasted 2 P47's out of the sky (including Zemke's wingman)...before bailing out himself.
