Clash at Kursk screenshots
« on: June 05, 2012, 10:45:23 PM »
I always enjoy when somebody starts a screenshot thread, even if I can't/didn't participate in that FSO frame. I don't see one here yet, so I just want to spread the love. My frame ended badly, but I got a few shots off before I went. It makes for some cool screenshots when properly posed.

Starting with Frame 1, but continue posting as the FSO proceeds, please!

Just a note... I'm running 3 monitors at 3840x1024 resolution. These are widescreen. They are shrunk down by the forums to a smaller width, but the images on photobucket are shrunk down a bit too. You can get a slightly clearer/larger one by going to the photo bucket image directly.

See my reply below this for some smaller images a bit more cropped for the average viewer.

And here are some I just cropped/zoomed in on certain areas, to present a screenshot closer to the standard ratio, for those interested!

Please post yours!

One of these days I will get a graphics card that will do this game justice; untill then this is the best I can do.

I didn't get to go home this time.
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

IMO it's not really about the graphics cards -- it's about what you're showing (the action, the composition, etc), and yours have PLENTY to offer!

Thanks guys, the one I most wish had turned out better is the 3rd one down. Took the p40's right wing as he rolled over the top of a loop when he was trying to get guns on my dad.  I was visiting my parents home and so my Dad and I were in the same room on different computers flying FSO, we both got shot down before the end of the frame but it was made all the more fun because we were sitting next to each other during the event.  (he got up and grabbed a new beer for me right after clearing that p40 of his six  :D )

Great Screens!
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Flying with my Son has been an experience unequalled in AH for me.  Glad you can experience the same with your own Father.

Nice screens all.

No Casualties!

III./JG11 returns to the barn after a successful sortie over the Kursk battlefront in FSO - Frame 2 of 'Clash at Kursk'.   Both 'Hopper' and 'Kappa' would score 7 victories each, and the unit would combine for 34 victories without loss!

A CO's dream, and sweet revenge.  Last week I lost my entire squadron and was the only survivor.  This week was most excellent hunting, and any time that everyone makes it back it's a great night.

FLY FSO!
