Will try to log into 255 tonight and see what is going on there. Probably around 10pm Central US time.

Creeper. >.>

you think that's creeping?

I been watching this case with my M107 for about 2 nights now, Seen people come and go, Seen them all sit down near a camp fire, I'm 1.5k out, Just this morning one of them logged in with a buddie and went to the fire and cooked some food, I then shot at 1.5k and killed him and his buddy droped a load in his pants and logged out, Now i moved to other spot.

I am spending all my time in game now being a taxi, using motorbike and boat to pick people up when they respawn or need medical attention :-)  don't need loot anymore and I've become too timid to want to die on this character  :uhoh

the cars and trucks are fun but too much effort planning a route to stick on roads
Did you see my dad on dogfights yet?
I'll be seeing you face to face possibly next month.

Looks like DayZ may turn into a stand alone, free to play multi-player game.

Sounds like a FPS version of Oregon Trail...only the oxen die and come back as zombies. Very interesting concept, I'd try it if it ever comes out solo as I do not have any of the ARMA games.

Best vehicle in the game so far is the bicycle...doesn't need fuel, goes fast enough to outrun the zombies and really doesn't draw any unwanted attention unless you are driving it through Elektro or Cherno past the sniper station at Pik Kozlovo.

motorbike is better imho :D  can carry 2 jerry cans easily and very fuel efficient, and unlike the bicycle it won't crash and kill you if you hit a bunny rabbit!

same as the bicycle if you damage it, you just jump off, jump back on and it's fixed

plus you can do wheelies

wished I had known that one. Would have made my run back to camp much less eventful! Ran over something and wheels went flat. Then chased back to the coast by Zeds dying of thirst I found soda at Komarov next to the industrial buildings.

Great game

I love baiting people... Put an M4A1 CCO, 5 mags, 2 grenades, medical supplies and food in the apartment streets in Cherno; watch the bodies pile up.  :D

New version is out today... 1.7.2 is rolling to downloads today. Might want to wait a bit because several people are talking about characters dying on login to the mod.

Supposed to have a hotfix released in the next 24-36 hours to cure those problems of lost gear and stuck on loading screens. However supposedly all tents and vehicles will be reset but not the gear on the players.
