The update is out right now 1.7.2.1 has apparently fixed the ghillie/camo clothing problems and they are releasing another update again today to bring it up to 1.7.2.2

Yes and no...some of the zombies act differently than others. Last night I walked upright, slowly through a crowd of about 10 zombies in Khelm and only got a sniff out of one of them who aggro'd about the time I was 10-20 feet from it. Then the others woke up to the fact that a non-zombie was in close proximity and then it became a fight for my character to get the heck out of the area. I was fortunate that I wasn't in the middle of the town since I wouldn't have made it out with all my gear.

Things may change with the updates today as that little scene played out with version 1.7.2.

And it just got mentioned that they released the wrong code to the public. The code that got released was for internal testing only.

1.7.2.3 has fixed a bunch of the problems they created by having the internal code released. It works really good but don't use DayZcommander to launch the game. It gets hung up all the time with that launcher. Use 6Launcher to start the game; however DayZcommander is a great tool to track servers and find buddies.

They do stay on your character but they are extremely hard to find for whatever reason now...as are medical supplies and it seems that the sniffles and coughs are back in force in the game as well so medical supplies are even harder to find if you can.

If i meet someone with a cough they get shot that simple, My Medical supplies are for me and my group.

Still wish I could hook up with you guys on 255 Marine. I was on there this morning with my son and one of the SimHQ guys for a while at Stary Sobor doing a tent raid looking for handguns since I lost mine in all the server madness last week and hadn't found one. I had just found a G17 and was putting it on my toolbelt before we headed out of the camp and BOOM sniper shot to the head. The other guy got sniped trying to get my DMR and DMR ammo out of my ALICE pack but my son discoed on command.
