Spain v Germany game again. Italy will have 48 hours lest rest,  and Ronaldo blows his top when he doesn't get the ball.  :furious

Its gonna be a rematch of Spain v Germany like 2008.

Italy were easily the better team,   pirlos penalty was immense if only joe stayed on his feet it would have gone from one of the best penalties ever to the worst.   :(

Moving on we need to change things like germany and spain have done and have confident assured players in every position that can look up and spot a pass.  And  Not rely on one or two players performing.

very strange,

italy played like i though england would, long precise passes, dynamic and with passion, england played like i thought italy would, 2 * 4 lines, very compact, less motivation to control the match

in my eyes the better team won at the end

+1.
Pirlo's  penalty was a thing of beauty. Hart was making all sorts of bellybutton out of himself and Pirlo just buried him...... despite the score and penalties, excellent match.

What surprised me about the game was the Italians not looking for Emmys/Oscars. Usually they are flopping like a fish out of water.

Pirlo's pk was awesome.

I still think the best I've witnessed is Zidane's in the WC '06. Wonder if it brought bad memories back for Buffon?

I understood this "we" exactly the same way he did mean it: WE, as the spectators, will now move on to see the half finals. I didn't think a second he was talkign about the Swedish team. It actually took a moment for me to grasp what you are talking about  :lol
