Again, I'm talking realistic here, for an average player. Ink, Batty your both top notch cartoon pilots and would have no trouble downing half a dozen each with out breaking a sweat, but for most players that are average, and not so average they isn't much you can do. Given an hour to fly each night I could take one trip and shadow a horde.... not a lot of action, or fun. Milkrunners have a "solution", up a K4, or a jet...heck they even added "special" jets to counter them at the starts, but not hordes. If people want to horde, that's fine, but there should be a way to counter them, like everything else.

  If HTC deems hordes a problem they could increase hardness of hangers and perhaps 5 min down time to allow some defense. Hordes seem to disable everything at the field so there is no resistance and no fight.
  It is a problem when only a few will disable front line ords. It stops a rolling horde in it's tracks every time. Maybe encourage ords porking with fighter perks.

The modes are for scoring purposes only.
For everything you kiill or destroy you get perks in this game, regardless of scoring mode. And the primary type of your plane determines where they are going to. Fighters get fighter perks, bombers get bomber perks.

It's just that destryong 2 ord bunkers give you very little in perks ( zero point something), so it may go totally unnoticed when you also shoot down an enemy during the same sortie.
