How "up" are you on programming video games?
While I have no idea on how much trouble it would be to program this lets look at it from another angle. How much of an advantage would it be to have another screen with the gauges on it all the time as compared to NOT having one and having to switch your views to see your gauges? My guess is it would be a pretty big advantage over most players....like your self.... are just learning to switch, spot, and interpret those gauges. So someone who couldn't afford to have an extra monitor would be at a serious disadvantage.
But the same advantages go into those that use a joystick with rudder pedals vs some with just a mouse and keyboard? I only ask not to create a "gap" from those that have and those that have not.
Yes I am a week and change into the game now and putting togther a "simpit". Not to "compete" with players on a "skillset" level but to make the game "feel" like im in the cockpit. Triple montors are great for "outside" the cockpit but having to loose sight of my enemy to see my airspeed makes me feel like im playing a game where in reality one would be able to see the gauges out of the corner of your eye. TrackIR just is not the answer for what "feels" right about a "static display" of flight instrumentation.
Eighter way its just a question... If I could decompile the code and work something up I would but I am not on that level.
