He played the Hammond C3 like nobody else. He will really be missed. We also lost Motown bass legend Bob Babbit on the same day.It was a sad day for musicians.

I didn't hear about Bob Babbit.  James Jamersons protege.  I guess not many have heard of the Funk Brothers. 
They were chiefly responsible for the Motown Sound.
