What do u think of the guy who shoot's u in your chute?

  Well....?, and would it be different if instead of Just seeing an icon that told u what type of plane was coming at u it had the pilots name instead?

If thay feel the need to waste more ammo after thay have already got the kill, Then i say have at it. All tho the other night i bailed out and opened my chute way to early and i was begging some one to come kill me in it. But to my horror i couldnt bribe any one to do it.

I pop chutes once in a blue moon.

There's nothing wrong with doing it and it's a good way to piss off irritable people.

Jekyll in RL it's a waste of time, ammo, and effort to kill someone in a chute.  The threat a chute poses to a mission is so miniscule that someone in a parachute wouldn't be considered a valid target, especially given the kind of air superiority the USAF currently enjoys.

If we were in a life and death struggle with another nation and I knew that the other guy was going to return and attack me, my comrades, or my country, I'd follow whatever ROE my commanders set up to and including blowing the bastage out from under his chute if that's what it took to get him out of the war for good AND the rules of engagement authorized it.

Frankly I think we'd have to be losing pretty badly for the ROE to authorize shooting people in their chutes, but I suppose it could happen.

In the game though, there's no moral question involved IMHO.  If it can be killed, then it's a target in the game.

Its a non-issue anymore since I tried the 109 G6.

One burst of .30mm LW cannon, and there is no chance of a bail. Hell, there aint even a bonding strap left.

 I think u all my be missing the point of the second part of my Question.You see the reason i think their is so much chute shooting in AH is that it is done with relative impunity, if their are multiple cons around it is hard to tell who got u, and even if u know who it was what good is that it's not like u can go and find him.Ya see in my last sim FA we did not have icons that gave the plane type we had icons that gave the pilot name. the result of this was that chute shooting was a rare occurrence, the reason for this was people would seakout the offending chute shooter and hunt him down, often whole squads would seek revenge, can u see 6 or more guys hunting u constantly till u cried mama....
