website a friend of mine is starting
« on: August 02, 2012, 09:44:49 PM »
A friend of mine is starting up a preparedness website, and needs people to generate traffic to the site :D
We are about an hour out from our website launching. We could really use the support from everyone to generate traffic on the site so we can get our Google ranking up. Just click the link below and check it out. We specialize in emergency preparedness merchandise and tactical gear. We will be adding more items all the time, so keep checking the site. Also, we are still working on the consultation and training portions of the web site. My business partner Tim Zabriskie and I have worked really hard and are very proud of what we have done thus far. Thanks everyone!

is this for the zombie apocalypse, or for fighting back against the government when Obama gets re-elected?
Did you see my dad on dogfights yet?
I'll be seeing you face to face possibly next month.

Way to go homer and friend.

I found it difficult to navigate the various drop down menus on the "products" area. It kept wanting to lose grip (if that makes any sense). Could have been a problem on my end though.

Also, you should list the items that are included in the kits. It's kind of hard to tell what they contain from the smallish pictures.

Best of luck to you.

The flash thing you have below the menu doesn't let us click the submenus.

This.

I found that if you left click on the menu you want and then drag down it will stabilize the sub-menus and thus let you view them.

Cool site Homers

Couple of things I noticed that you may want to bring up to him, under the Consultation tab, when it opens, its really hard to read his text with the backround he chose. Found myself squinting trying to make out the text.

The tabs at the top of the screen are really hard to get to the sub tabs. ( Tried what Spikes wrote and it worked just a pita )

Descriptions of the individual products are needed ie what comes in the Trauma Kit etc...(although im sure hes getting to that having just launched the site)

Not knocking him, or the site ( I really like it ) ...just what i noticed as a consumer.

All in all a really neat site, great name and prices are good.  Saved an icon to my desktop......Its like Macys for outdoorsmen  :aok
