294 kill streak before dying. My best attempt yet at an old challenge

I have had somthing of a tradition since I started playing this game. streak till dying at the start of a tour and attempt to get to 352.

previous attempt streaks for me personally...
152 kills long ago and 156 kills a tour or two ago before getting shot down.

I almost made it to the 352 mark this time.

was up to 294 kills when I bought the virtual farm.

sure was fun while it lasted. :)

there is no best and if there was it wouldn't matter. everyone here good or bad at the game is a dweeb.

you might not grasp the adrenalin rush that is experienced when you are trying to take on the streak challenge. its one thing that keeps me interested in the game. It's not for everyone. only hard core survivalists have an interest in this. the majority is happy with the furball hamster wheel and for most of the time I enjoy it as well. but the call of the streak. the challenge remains. and the attmpt is the fun part. the end is almost always death but then that leaves next tour to try again. :)

similar to FSO events where you get one life but on a more personal level.

the question isn't will you make a mistake but can you beat the odds and survive that mistake. the odds will say no. it is possible to beat the odds but eventually your luck runs out and somthing your brain was telling you was a mistake is ignored and you can not stop the events cacading in slow motion as you take the final turn that ends the attempt.

I was happy when i got one kill after a 5 mins fight.
Congrats and everything... still i really cant get it, Fester, sorry...  :(

SEmill got you in a Whirblwind. By dying do you mean "successfully landed"? or do ditches kep the streak alive? Also for clarification, I assume Bailed, Crashed, Captured...all caount as "Dying"

 :salute on the Streak. 262 or not, very difficult to do.

you can quantify it any way you prefer. it really comes down to making the game your own sandbox and playing in it using your own imagination.

personally I've always given up once I was captured or bailed out but ussually keep going after a ditch. most of this stems from having no streak tracker so the only way to track it is at the start of a tour with the k/d stat or total kills.

perhaps. but its also my own personal method of tracking my streaks since there is no streak counter in game... simply search under my name (Citabria) and kill streak. its rare I make this post and it is more for personal reference than anything else so don't take offense.
